2025 Golden Sirens: Paramedic of the Year – Kaylynn Kennedy

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Fort Wayne, IN – May 17, 2025 The Indiana EMS Association is pleased to honor Kaylynn Kennedy of the Fort Wayne Fire Department as the 2025 Golden Sirens Paramedic of the Year. Kaylynn Kennedy is an exceptional educator and leader, serving as the lead instructor for multiple EMT and Advanced EMT classes with a remarkable 100% pass rate. She has developed and delivered innovative training for the Operations Division, adapted seamlessly to challenges like COVID-19, and was instrumental in developing the EMS Mobile Simulation Vehicle for FWFD. As EMS Coordinator and lead instructor for the fire academy, Kaylynn continues to shape the next generation of EMS professionals. She also serves as a board member for the Primary Instructor Cohort and the local EMS consortium, and is a valuable resource for the state EMS team. Kaylynn’s unwavering commitment, innovative approach, and passion for education make her a standout in the field. Congratulations to Kaylynn Kennedy for her dedication and leadership in EMS education and patient care.
